Time Clock - Enrolling Fingerprints

Enrolling finger prints (biometrics) for physical timeclocks

NXG Series clocks have biometric capabilities to make clocking in and out for employees quick and easy.  The steps necessary to enroll an employee are detailed below.
 

 

Access the Clock Menu

Press the Menu Button on the key pad or the Pink Menu icon on the touch screen to access the clock menu.

 

Next you will choose 1. Main Menu.

 

You will then enter your Badge # (Employee ID within isolved) and click "Save".

You may need to get this info from your employer or HR Admin.

 

By default, your PIN number will be your last 4 of your SSN, click "Save".

 

You are now in the Main Menu.  Choose 1. Supervisor.

 

Choose 5. Biometrics.

 

Choose 1. Enroll Employee.

 

Enter the Badge (Employee ID) # into the prompt and Submit.  

You may need to get this info from your employer or HR Admin.

 

You will then be prompted to scan 2 different fingers, 3x each.  Press firm, and then remove to scan.  Follow the on screen prompts to get through the next steps.     

If adjustments are necessary, the prompts on the screen will ask you to adjust the position of the finger being scanned (up, to the side, etc.).  

 

 

Once complete, you will see the "Success" notification.  Click ok, and enroll another finger print if necessary OR exit out of the menu and return to the home screen on the clock.
